Samantha Mohr

Mohr was a UGA student. She took part in her first pageant after being advised by a fellow student. She was awarded Miss Columbus 1985. Mohr was then eligible to be a part of her first Miss Georgia pageant, which was held in June of 1985. Mohr won Saturday's contest, which took place on June 22nd, 1985. Mohr took home over 3500 dollars in scholarship money and additional prizes at the State Pageant. When she was Miss Georgia the state, she made public appearances across the state of Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September of 1985. Mohr was able to predict that Susan Akin would win Miss America through computer-generated modeling. The odds for his success were 22:1. Mohr wasn't a top 10 finalist in the race for the crown. Mohr has been Miss Georgia for a total of ten years. This was until Marlesa Bal, who was her successor to the title, was elected Miss Georgia 1986, on June 28th June, 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
